More Barrons Regents Exams
| More exams will be continually added to the site. In a typical year, we add 2 exams for each of the subjects we cover (usually the June and August exams). Each subject area has a comprehensive database of multiple-choice questions and explanations from 1997 to present while many courses may also have additional questions from regents exams dating as far back as 1990. A few years ago we began adding detailed-response/essay type questions to our database. These questions can not be graded by the website because of the difficulty in comparing a student's detailed answer to an exact answer in the database. Most recently we've added the Integrated Algebra exams to our course list! Before the first exam is given in June 2009, we have three sample Integrated Algebra exams on the site. One of them, designated as MT/MT when selecting exams by date from the database, is the official sample Regents exam prepared by the NYS Department of Education. The other two sample tests, designated as MT/s1 and MT/s2, have been prepared by our mathematics editors. All three exams are similar to the actual Regents exam in format, topic coverage, and difficulty. English teachers take note! The entire Regents English exams are fully printable for easy hand-out to your students, including the listening and reading passages AND the sample essays given as answers. There's even space for students to write and save their essays for teacher review or self-grading by comparing them to the sample essays given as answers. As always, the multiple-choice questions are graded automatically. |
